Coastal Medical Services, Inc. utilizes the clinical competence skills of RNs and LVNs. All of our licensed nursing personnel undergo extensive orientation that includes a clinical preceptorship. With the patient's clinical care always under the supervision of an RN, our focus becomes one of not only treating the patient but, also including the immediate and extended family in the recovery process.
Coastal Medical Services, Inc. can deliver Complex I.V. Therapy in the comfort of the patient's home by using competency-evaluated RNs.
Coastal Medical Services, Inc. realizes that Home Health Services is an integral part of the care team. We view the Aide as a team member supporting and promoting the TOTAL CARE PROCESS of the patient. ALL Home Health Services undergo an extensive orientation program to determine their clinical competency, and a criminal history check is done before patient assignments.
Under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist, all therapy modalities are planned after evaluation and in consultation with the primary attending physician.
Under the direction of a Master's Speech and Language Pathologist, Coastal Medical Services, Inc. provide a full modality of speech pathology services.
Our Occupational Therapy component works in close conjunction with the other rehabilitative services offered by Coastal Medical Services, Inc.
Coastal Medical Services, Inc. has the capability of performing laboratory services. Coastal Medical Services, Inc. also holds a CLIA Certificate of Waiver for laboratory studies done at home.
Social Services is under the direction of a Licensed Social Worker who holds a Masters in Social Services. The Social Services program has a multidiscipline focus to incorporate all socioeconomic interventions to support the care process.
Homemaker and personal care services are designed to help patients who are home bound under Medicaid, Primary, and Family care programs. Our attendants can provide such tasks as cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
